Evolutionary Vocals And Strings

“Reese sucked in a breath and played faster, hurling the anger through his fingers until it spun all his
fear, all his rage, into the gentle voice of music.”
― Willowy Whisper

Vocals and guitar being a parallel mate:

Being able to play the guitar and sing at the same time makes the performance much more engaging for the audience, and allows everyone to get involved. Furthermore, if you’re a working musician, it’s easier to get a gig if you can do both. Depending on how experienced you are, playing the guitar and singing at the same time may be easier for some than it is for others. Play the guitar part of the song you’re learning over and over again without singing.

“The history of music is mortal, but the idiocy of the guitar is eternal.”

Evolution of guitar:
The exact origin of the guitar is still a mystery. The word “guitar” probably comes from the ancient Greek word κιθάρα (kithara). Mythology attributes Hermes with creating the first kithara from a tortoise shell, but many likenesses of Apollo show him with this instrument. The ancient musician typically played the strings with a plectrum, which is an early version of the modern pick. The player would use his or her left-hand fingers to dampen unwanted strings and, at times, stop the strings or produce harmony with their left hand. Solo musicians would sometimes pluck the strings with the fingers of both hands.

Shapes of guitar from prehistory to history:

The history of the guitar generally goes back to two instruments, the oud and the lute, which predate written history. The evolution of Spanish guitars settled by the 1790s; they had the standard body type and six courses of strings that resemble the modern guitar but were smaller. Spanish musician and guitar maker Antonio de Torres Jurado changed all that in the mid-1800s when he created the style of guitar that gave rise to all guitars to follow. His guitars featured a broadened body, thinned belly and increased curve at the waist. He also replaced wooden tuning pegs with a machined head.

Playing the guitar is your hobby

Well, initially everything starts with the infrastructure. So you need to have a guitar first. Before buying a guitar you to understand the fact that you need to give a lot of time at the initial stages to learn the guitar secondly there is not a hard and fast rule to learn a guitar. Initially, you will find yourself helpless to play the guitar because your fingers will not move on strings but after 10 days you will see that your fingers are moving automatically. Initially, your hands will hurt you while pressing the metal strings but after some time they will become hard and won’t hurt anymore. when you are in tension, just pick the guitar and play it. You will surely get out of your stress quickly. It is proven that a musical instrument which sounds good tends to heal your stress and your soul if you are suffering from any thought-related diseases.

“Music shouldn’t be just a tune, it should be a touch.”

Crossing The Streets Of French Aesthetics

The Birth Of French Language : It All Begins In Gaul

Modern-day France and Belgium were once included in an ancient region of Western Europe known as Gaul, and while the Gaulish Language hasn’t left too much of an imprint on the modern French we learn today, it is the perfect place to begin getting to grips with the history of the French language.

When Gaul was conquered by the Romans in the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, the Gaulish language (which was a Celtic language) came under attack-hence the true meaning of a ‘Romance language’ as “to speak in Roman fashion.”

“The crown of literature is poetry.”

The Germanic Invasions And Impact One Of The Most Popular Romantic Language

The Germanic invasions which followed – known by the Romans as the “barbaric invasions” – had a big impact on the French language. When the Empire’s frontiers collapsed and Gaul fell into the hands of the Franks, Vulgar Latin was further diluted by dialects from the different regions.

As Malcolm Offord notes in the French words including past and future the Franks imposed their own stress patterns and patterns of usage upon Vulgar Latin, and this goes a long way to explaining why French is so different to other languages descended from Latin – Italian and Spanish

“Boy, those French! They have a different word for everything.”

Romanticism In Literature And Politics

Paradoxically, given the role of the Revolution in fostering Romanticism, French Romanticism began a few years later than British and German, in part because French writers could be more directly involved in the politics than their European counterparts. Perhaps for this reason too it took a somewhat different course in the first generation; two of its main protagonists, de Staël and Constant, remained liberal, if chastened, revolutionaries. It was de Staël, in her extraordinarily influential Of Germany (1810), who brought German Romanticism to French, and wider European, notice.

Stages Of Calligraphy

‘Calligraphy is the most intimate, private and spontaneous expressive means. Like a fingerprint or voice it is unique with every person’. – Hermann Zapf, German designer

Learning Calligraphy Is All About Being Patient:

At the beginning, it can be discouraging to be starting from the ground up, practicing mundane ‘drills’ and feeling like your skills will never be as advanced as you’d like. But calligraphy and lettering are specialized skills. And just like you wouldn’t pick up an instrument and know how to play a song right away, you can’t just pick up a brush pen and be a master at calligraphy or lettering. You need to practice. A lot. Dedicate time for practice every single day, and you will get better. s we already established, calligraphy and handwriting are very different. In calligraphy, there are actually some BASIC strokes you have to learn before you can ever do your alphabet.

‘Perfection of handwriting needs proper education, regular exercises, and purity of the soul’.

Skipping Basics Can Lower Down One’s Performance:

In calligraphy, you need to start with the very, very basics. These are referred to as ‘strokes’. All of your letters are made up of strokes. So, practice the strokes- over, and over, and over again- until they’re consistent. The more consistent your strokes, the more consistent your letters. picking up a brush pen and copying someone’s else’s style would be like picking up an instrument and learning a song without knowing how to play each note. You could eventually figure out how to play the song by copying the sounds, but if someone asked you to play them a ‘G minor’, you wouldn’t know how. You skipped a step.  Just grab some fancy brush pens and use them with my already-nice handwriting. Turns out, that’s the fast track to failure!

Each letter in every script known to man holds an eternal power, an individual beauty in its vertical, horizontal, angular lines, in their continuity’. –Achyut Palav, Indian Calligrapher

Use The Right Lettering Tools:

just until you know what you’re doing enough to get the expensive ones. And this is true- to an extent. You can practice with any supplies you want at the beginning- a pencil, a ballpoint pen, Crayola markers, your kids colouring supplies- but when you want to get serious, you need the right supplies. The simple reason: brush pens, inks, nibs, and papers are not created equal. If you use the wrong ones, you will frustrate yourself and ruin your supplies. even though some tools DO make our life easy, or can speed up some processes, the only way to see improvements fast is with practice, so try to carve as much time as you can, download some of my free workbooks and let’s focus on our deliberate practice!

The art of beautiful writing is accessible to anyone who wants to unlock its secrets.

Socializing With Others Of The Same Filed:

When you browse hashtags and look through your search page, you start to come across the same people over and over again. If you find someone whose style you really love, or who you think you’d get along with in real life, MESSAGE THEM! Be genuine- tell them what you love about their work, ask questions, and start a conversation. Learning calligraphy & lettering is tough, and it’s so nice to have other like-minded people on your side. I am a firm, firm believer in community over competition. So reach out to others- engage with them, tell them when you like their stuff. It really does go far.

Essence Of Vedic Math

Father  Of  Vedic Maths And His Operations:

Shri  Bharati Krishna Tirathji  is called the father of vedic Maths. He took to self-realization at Shringeri Matha with the guidance of Shri Shankracharya, Shri Sachidananda Shiva Abhinava Narsimha Saraswati, He spent  7 years in deep meditation and study of Vedanta and lived the life of a Sadhu from 1911 to 1918. During this period, the 16 Sutras of Vedic Maths were made. After a brilliant University career he became a lecturer in Mathematics and Science in the Baroda College. Thereafter he became Principal of National College in Rajamundary, Andhra Pradesh, IndiaIn 1905 when the Freedom movement started in Bengal, Bharti Krishnaji participated in the freedom movement along with Shri Aurobindo Ghosh and Gopal Krishna Gokhale – an ardent nationalist. Bharti Krishnaji wrote to numerous newspapers propagating the freedom movement. He was also appointed “Warden of the Sons of India” by Dr.Annie Besant in 1908.

Algebra and multiplication are separated by a wall. One must work extensively with arithmetic before venturing onto algebra, and the same applies to other aspects of math, that one must be “conquered” before the next concept is addressed.

Vedic Math And Its Ideology

The most important feature of the Vedic Mathematics system of learning is its logical methodology. For example, the Nikhilam method in subtraction, the subtraction technique of all from nine and last from 10 does not require children to write the whole numerical question in a vertical order to do subtraction questions. With lesser time and lesser steps, it helps them solve it saving a lot of time. This is very easy to pick up. In the general multiplication method, for example, it is easily reversed to allow one-line divisions, and the simple squaring method can be reversed to show one-line square roots.  Hence we see that it makes maths easy and one can do it with speed. There are many tricks for Vedic  Maths for Faster Calculations.

Math is about getting the right answer – Adding and subtracting/math is about understanding patterns.
Complex math involves complex reasoning and laborious effort. – Recognizing underlying patterns can speed the process.

The Kind Of Methodology Vedic Maths Reflects:

Vedic Mathematics Methods of doing Maths helps to solve difficult sums easily and quickly. And these are systematic methods implying these are far easier than conventional methods taught in the school. It reduces a lot of steps for children and thereby increases their speed of calculation making them competitive. Hence it school competitions and Olympiads kids trained with this system of learning do better than other otherwise. Nowadays the interest in Vedic System of Learning is growing a lot. The children are comfortably applying Vedic Sutras in Geometry, Calculus, Computing Etc.It is said “Practice Makes the Man Perfect” , the more you practice the better is the speed of calculation and mental maths of the students.

The Vedic approach enables people to experiment creatively with several approaches.

Reflection Of Vedic Maths In Real Life:

Vedic maths is completely accomplished in mind. Vedic math also begins at a primary level of numbers and slowly advances to easy additions, subtractions, multiplications and division. It takes of much more beyond the fundamental calculations. With Vedic methods, one can also figure out problematic

In looking at the valley surrounded by mountains, I think it is best to view the valley as our own consciousness, the mountains as the immensity of different practical tasks in the world, and the paths of our intuitive reasoning. On the other side, unbeknownst to most of us still, is a boundless sea of understanding that can be skillfully navigated by Vedic wisdom.

Germanic Tribe

Diving Into The Custom:

The people, language, and traditions are what make the German culture unique. It has had a key role in the history of Europe. English speakers call it Germany ,and Germans themselves call Deutschland. Germany is known as the country of poets and thinkers.

The Culture just asking to look beauty around.

Symbolism

The German symbols have changed through different phases in history alongside the events that have shaped its culture and traditions. The eagle was part of the Holy Roman Empire, which after Prussia’s victory over Austria in 1886 has been shared by two different states. Martin Luther and luminaries such as Immanuel Kant, Johann Gottfried von Herder, and Johann Wolfgang Goethe are also important figures and very contentious symbols. Today the most known symbol of the country is its black, red, and gold flag.

Literature Of The Germans

Some of the most famous philosophers were born and lived in Germany, like Immanuel Kant, who played a central role in the history of philosophy, and h was inspired by German philosopher philosophers Schopenhauer and Nietzsche who spent their whole lives in Germany. On the other hand, the developers of the communist theory Marx and Engels were also Germans.

Literature is the essence of honest words.

The German Romanticism

Romanticism crucially also maintains that art cannot be learned; it emerges from divine inspiration. The artist’s role is the mediator between the creative and the divine. Nature was considered to be the visible spirit, the evidence of the divine in the absence of an image of God himself. The romantic landscape artist was charged with the responsibility of contemplating nature and its spirit and then replicating it in art.

Biology As A Constant Hobby

What All One Can Learn Lifelong From Biology As A Hobby

enjoy your biology class, like nature, animals, or plants, have an interest in medicine, or simply feel lots of curiosity about living things?

If so, you may be thinking about focusing on or majoring in biology. But you may also have some questions about biology as a career. Would you spend all your time in a lab, or marching through tropical jungles? Would you be able to make a living, and would your work help others and make a difference in the world? the answers depend a lot on exactly what you choose to do with your biology expertise! A biology background can be the gateway to many different careers, including various areas of research (such as biomedicine and ecology) as well as many non-research careers, such as teaching, science communication, and public policy. seeing examples of careers in biology and getting a sense of just how many different things you can do with this fascinating subject!

Pattern Of Nature

Biology Being The Key To Many Doors:

  • Doctor, nurse, physician’s assistant, genetic counselor
  • Conservation ecologist, environmental advocate
  • Laboratory or field researcher at a university or institute
  • Science writer (freelance, or as part of a company or non-profit)
  • Drug development researcher, biomedical device engineer
  • Food scientist or agricultural expert
  • Teacher, professor, outreach coordinator
  • Science policy advisor to the government or elected officials

That’s just a small sampling of the many possibilities!

How To Take Your Interest Further In The Subject:

Whatever job it is that interests you, it’s likely that there are some people in your community or nearby areas who are working in a similar role.

  • Consider emailing some of those people, introducing yourself, and asking if you could chat with them to learn more about their job. (This is called an informational interview).
  • You can even ask if they’d be willing to let let you do a job shadow, where you follow them around for a short period, such as a day or a week, to see what their job is actually like “on the ground.”

Make sure to be very polite when you contact someone for an informational interview or job shadow, and understand that some people may not have the time or ability to help you out. If you keep trying, though, you’ll likely find someone who can share their experiences (and may even become a mentor!).

Look for opportunities to get your toes wet in your chosen area.

Getting this kind of experience is valuable for two reasons

: 1) it will help you learn skills and make professional connections, and

2) it will help you figure out if the career is actually something you enjoy and would want to do in the future.

Journey Of A Biologist

BIOLOGY: DIY

Do-it-yourself biology is a rather recent phenomenon and can be described as the pursuit of biology outside of scientific institutions by amateurs, students, “hobbyists”. As the “do-it-yourself” movement usually associated to home improvement, the idea is here also to build and create things oneself without the direct help of specialists.  Even though modern scientific challenges like synthetic biology are much discussed, the practice of DIY synthetic biology is very modest at this time. Instead, when doing wetlab work, DIY practitioners tend to focus on getting basic molecular biology protocols to work in their own settings. It is clear that individuals in the community do want to do more complex wetlab work, demonstrated by the presence of “Synthetic Biology crash courses” in DIYbio labs like Genspace or Biocurious. DIY biology practitioners are currently foremost working towards creating and tinkering with scientific hardware, software and experimental protocols. And it is by creatively designing and redesigning equipment and protocols that DIY biology can foster new scientific practices

From Basic Math To Vedic Math

Focus Of Vedic Math:

Vedic Mathematics is a collection of ancient tricks and techniques to execute arithmetic operations quickly and more efficiently. Vedic Math comes from the Vedas, more specifically the Atharva Veda. It was revived by Indian mathematician Jagadguru Shri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji between 1911 and 1918. He then published this work in a book called Vedic Mathematics in 1965. It comprises 16 sutras (formulae) and 13 sub sutras. Vedic Math is an ancient technique that simplifies multiplication, divisibility, complex numbers, squaring, cubing, square roots, cube roots, recurring decimals, and auxiliary fractions.

Introduction Of Veda’s and Sutra’s

Why One Should Know Vedic Math?

  • *Makes elementary calculation 10-15 times faster
  • *Helps in accurate guessing
  • *Useful for all classes
  • *Reduces burden (need to learn tables up to 9 only)
  • *A magical tool to reduce finger counting and rough work
  • *Increases concentration
  • *Helps in reducing silly mistakes
  • Vedic maths provides answers in one line, as opposed to the several steps of traditional mathematics. There are six Vedanganas. The Jyotish Shastra is one of the six. Vedic Math forms part of this Jyotish Shastra. Vedic maths consists of 3 segments or ‘skandas’ (branches). The beauty of Vedic Math lies in its simplicity; all calculations can be done on pen and paper. The approach to solve problems stimulates and sharpens the mind, memory, and focus. It improves creativity and promotes innovation.
The Most Honest Calculation

Vedic Math In Modern times

The portrayal of distinct brain zones engaged in highly active activity dealing with mathematics is at the heart of a growing neuroscientific knowledge of the mathematical functioning of human brains As a result, the presence of mind and the capture of thoughts while presenting the problem are just as important as the solution to the problem.

Vedic mathematics aids in mental computations that are both faster and more accurate. This combines 16 Sutras and 13 up Sutras. Mental calculations are beneficial to answer any complex equation in addition, division, multiplication, algebra, trigonometry, square, square root, cube, and cube root. And this is an ever-changing epoch in the human history.

Healing Nature Of Calligraphy

THE HEALING BENFITS OF CALLIGRAPHY

There are different forms of Calligraphy that are found globally. You can practically see this form of art everywhere – right from Chinese Calligraphy tattoo to pictures of Chinese art it is everywhere. Chinese Calligraphy – the beautiful art with healing benefits, that makes it stand out from the rest. What it makes it exclusive from other is that it helps in the communication of an artist’s spiritual world by making use of the Chinese characters. The most appealing factor of the Chinese Calligraphy also conveys a lot about aesthetic feeling, emotions, moral integrity and character of the artist to the readers. Chinese Calligraphy has showed the new role in therapy and health. Meditation is an effective and traditional method for staying healthy and coping stress, the studies have revealed that learning Chinese Calligraphy can provide you with the same distinctions and stress reduction benefits like that of doing mediation. There was a significant difference shown in the heart rate, reduced muscle stress, controlled respiratory rate and skin temperature as well.

GULNAAZ MEHNBOOB AND HIS STYLE OF CALLIGRAPHY

Gulnaz Mahboob’s search for a calligraphy master saw her land in Istanbul with “a clean palette,” she says. “I had no knowledge of the science behind it or who the masters were. I knew that I wanted to reconnect with my creative side, but I didn’t know how, where, or who to go to.” “Although Islamic calligraphy originated from the Arab world, many are now going to Istanbul because that’s where a lot of the masters are,” Mahboob tells Arab News. “They’ve perfected calligraphy to such an extent, and the standard is very high. Istanbul has become a hotspot for calligraphers.” “Although Islamic calligraphy originated from the Arab world, many are now going to Istanbul because that’s where a lot of the masters are,” Mahboob tells Arab News. “They’ve perfected calligraphy to such an extent, and the standard is very high. Istanbul has become a hotspot for calligraphers.”

DIFFERENT TYPES OF CALLIGRAPHY:

Modern Pointed Pen Calligraphy

Modern pointed pen calligraphy dominates the TPK website because it’s my personal favorite out of all the different types of calligraphy. (This style of calligraphy is what I think of when I hear “modern calligraphy”, so that’s how I refer to it throughout the site.) You create this calligraphy style with a pointed nib which is simply a nib with a pointed tip. If you’re interested in this calligraphy style,.

Brush Pen Calligraphy
Brush pen calligraphy is calligraphy that’s made with pens that have long, tapered tips and a consistent ink flow. The technique for using brush pens echoes the technique used for pointed pens: you apply pressure to make thick strokes, and you let up on pressure to make thin strokes. Brush pen calligraphy only requires two supplies (a brush pen and paper), and it’s a fun and approachable way to get started with any type of calligraphy. You can learn more about brush pen calligraphy
Traditional Pointed Pen Calligraphy
Traditional pointed pen calligraphy styles like Spencerian and Copperplate have been around for years, and you create them with particular strokes and formations. You have some room to be creative, but you don’t have a lot of freedom compared to modern calligraphy.

Beyond The Voice

THE PAST AND STORY OF VOCALS:

In the beginning was the voice. Voice is sounding breath, the audible sign of life.
-Ibid.

It is likely the earliest singing was individualistic and improvisatory, a simple imitation of the sounds heard in nature. Many anthropologists believe the development of a lowered larynx (important to articulate speech, as it effectively makes the flexible lower tongue the front wall of the pharynx) was a relatively recent aspect of human evolution. Three styles of chant melody evolved: syllabic (for clergy and congregation), neumatic (several notes to a syllable, for choristers) and melismatic (florid, for soloists). Metricity in either chant texts or melodies was uncommon, but occurred as early as the fourth century, In the graphic art of the Middle Ages, singers were often shown with strained expressions, their furrowed brows, protruding veins and exaggerated mouth positions suggesting an effortful, possibly nasal quality–twangy or reedy–like the instrumental colors of the time. Chaucer, in his fourteenth century Canterbury Tales, described singing of the time as being ‘intoned through the nose’. Straight tone was the probable norm, with vibrato being reserved for use as an ornament, as were a stock of ancient vocal devices: portamenti, turns, trills, and the intentional use of the qualities of the various vocal registers. The yodel was probably used as well.

PERCEPTION OF SINGING:

Singing voices are classified into six main groups: soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass. There are also commonly used subgroups, such as dramatic as opposed to lyric, or spinto, coloratura, soubrette, and so on. The main criterion for this classification is the singer’s comfortable pitch range. low voices tend to have long vocal tracts and vice versa. Thus, sopranos tend to have the shortest pharynges and basses the longest Thus, sopranos tend to have the shortest pharynges and basses the longest a given pitch, singers with a higher pitch range should tend to have a weaker voice-source fundamental than singers with a lower pitch range.

MUSIC AND THE BRAIN:

In the act of singing (with words) there is a smooth integration of the neural systems producing speech and singing. We know that in terms of activation, these systems seem to exhibit a significant degree of overlap asymmetries may reflect complementary specializations that arose specifically to serve the simultaneous demands inherent in producing speech (words with prosodic intonation) or song (melody with lyrics). Regardless of its evolutionary origins, song production, like song perception, calls upon a combination of functions, some of whose components appear to exhibit opposite hemisphere asymmetries. Temporal lobe areas were activated bilaterally during song imagery, consistent with the integrated nature of melody and lyrics in song representations. During actual singing, temporal lobe activation would be predominantly driven by the processing of auditory feedback. It remains to be demonstrated whether song singing will result in strongly right hemisphere asymmetric activation, as does simple singing without words, or in significant activation of left temporal lobe areas associated with language comprehension.

Indian Aesthetic And Culture

True culture includes all these four aspects and a cultured man ought to show development along all these four lines. It is therefore obvious that education in aesthetics is as essential if not more than mere intellectual or physical education. Man can never be complete or balanced or harmonical unless his emotions are trained, developed and sublimated, and herein comes the need for introducing art in our educational curriculum as a compulsory subject. Classical Dance is the highest form of art.

ART OF EXPRESSIONS.

DANCE AND POWER OF ONENESS:

In the classical dance, dancer portrays multiple characters to tell stories based on Hindu philosophies with narratives of good versus evil. “since the ideal dance student is expected to render herself devoid of aham (egotism) and to become a selfless devotee of the dance, she must train to perform both male and female roles or styles of dance with equal dexterity.” There are certain dance forms that are associated with different genders, such as kathakali, typically for male dancers, and the mohini attam, which is performed primarily by women.  classical training is the Ardhanarishwara, a “celebration of the half-man, half-woman deity” that requires dancers to move between male and female styles.

THE CULTURE RICH IN ITS AESTHETICS AND DIVERSITY

Indian Art Culture And Classical Dance Forms:

philosophy and practice may be traced back to the Sanskrit scripture Natyashastra.  Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Odissi, etc are examples of Indian Classical Dance forms. until the 19th century, musical plays known as sangeet-nataka evolved into contemporary classical dance forms. Tandava and Lasya are the two main elements of Indian classical dance. Natya (the theatrical element of the dance, i.e. character impersonation) Bharat Muni’s Natya Shastra is the most important source for determining the features of dances.

POWER OF EXPRESSION THROUGH DANCE AND ITS DIFFERENT FORMS

Rasa’s Of The Classical Dance

Love, Heroism, Pathos, Humour, Anger, Fear, Disgust, Wonder, and Peace are the nine rasas.

Technically, the term “rasa” means rapture. According to the Natya shastra, Rasa is produced by a combination of the vibhaava (determinants, stimulus or right ambience), Anubhaava (the transitory mental status or the effective results of the excitation produced in the vibhaava) and vyaabhichaari bhaava (birth of the derived emotion). Rasa imparts blissful joy with a combination of abhinaya (histrionic representation) and sthaayee Bhaava (permanent sentiments). Since it is felt in the form of ecstasy, it is called the natya rasa. There can be no Rasa without Bhaava and no Bhaava without Rasa. Therefore, in histrionics, they attain perfection only when they complement each other. All the rasas are derived from the Sthayi bhava or State of mind. Thereafter the combination of vibhava (Determinants), Anubhav (consequents) and vyabhichari (Transitory mental status) give rise to the emotion (rasa).

DESIGNED IN A WAY TO ELIVATE ONE’S CONSCIOUSNESS

French Not Just A Language But Prettiest Way Of Communication.

The Past Of The Language

French is a language that reflects both the rich cultural and historical heritage of France and also that of the worldwide Francophonie. It is a language of international diplomacy, a global business language, and a top internet language, which points to the growing importance of French. With deep historical roots in the U.S. and throughout North America and the Caribbean, it is also a local language. The ideas of the Enlightenment inspired the American Revolution, several of the Founding Fathers visited Paris to elicit French support of the revolutionary cause, and France has been considered America’s oldest ally.

French As A Vocation

French is a global business language, and knowledge of French can lead to career opportunities. A 2011 Bloomberg study found French to be the third most useful language for international business, with only English and Mandarin Chinese more useful. French is the second most studied language in the world, with 100 million students around the world—a huge market. Over a million students study French in the Alliance Française alone.

French In The Time Ahead:

French is considered an advantage in personal life, in culture, in travel, in education, in the workplace, and in terms of access to information around the world. With 900 million people learning French around the world, our relative lack of French language skills and knowledge of francophone culture may mean that we are falling behind and may put our futures at risk. So, for all of these reasons and many more, the question for most of us should no longer be Why French? but rather Why not French? and Why not now?

Math In Daily Life And Its Uses
